That how my orange tabby got his name.

Orange female tabbys are semi-rare.........I think it's over 90% of all orange tabbys are male....I have no clue why.

Oh, they are so cute. Names are so special, it is difficult to come up with the right one. I always have a difficult time. I called my cat Little One, although he wasn't little when I got him, I just think that is a "loving name". Taco and Little One. The name Little One was always a topic of conversation, he got a lot of attention.

Jennifer I have a female orange tabby too! We call her Ginger. The vet told me that the female orange tabbys are called marmalades sometimes.
You are right almost all the orange tabby's are male.

Very cute! Are you sure about the sexes? We had a friend who was sure her kittens were female and named them Sandy (orange & white) & Mandy (black & white) and they both turned out to be males...she kept the names the same though. LOL Sandy was the orange kitten so that's what I'll say for yours. Have fun with the new members of your family!
