Re: Pics missing
I can see the pictures too. Everything I know to do to possibly fix the problem has been suggested. Wish I could think of something else! I hope the problem you all are having is fixed soon!

*sigh*
Internet bullies that have it in for certain ppl.
I feel that bullying is a form of terror.
So many ppl get destructive.
It is SO discouraging.

What I do not understand about internet bullies or hackers, is that if they are that smart, WHY not use their time constructively and do something good with their brains?

The part I don't understand is how does logging on to QIAD have anything to do with our Photobucket account being hacked. How do they know who is logging on to QIAD. Sounds like it should be fixed soon. Sure hope so. I want to see Georgia Peach's pictures!!!!
So since I can't see the pictures, does it mean that my Photobucket account has been hacked? I'm soooo confused.

Grammy it has nothing to do with QIAD - it is totally a Photobucket problem. I can see the pictures again, here is the message that was posted on a photobucket forum - hope this helps you understand

I thought I'd recap to save new visitors having to wade through all the posts....
On Tuesday afternoon, some users that typed in the Photobucket.com URL were temporarily redirected to an incorrect page due to an error in our DNS hosting services. The error was fixed within an hour of its discovery, but due to the nature of the problem, some users will not have access to Photobucket for a few hours as the fix rolls out.
It is important to note that only a portion of Photobucket users encountered the problem and that no Photobucket content, password information or other personal information was affected by the redirect.
Please try doing a DNS Flush on your computer.

You may also want to reboot your modem and/or router.
If this does not resolve the issue, please try again later, as the redirect may still be cached in your ISP's DNS files. Depending on the ISP, it may take up to 72 hours (or longer) for their DNS cache to be cleared (or for it to expire), so you should consider contacting them to see if anything can be expedited.
Unfortunately, Photobucket can not do anything to help speed up the process. It is completely out of our control at this point.

Re: Pics missing
Hi Littlebit...I didn't think it had anything to do with QIAD, but what I still don't understand is how it is only affecting certain people. I read the message on the Photobucket site....but to be honest I don't have a clue what all that "computer-speak" even means. I don't have any idea how to do a DNS flush....I don't even know what a DNS flush is. LOL.
Guess I will just wait it out and see what happens.
Do you think I will have to do all that stuff, or will the problem just take care of itself on its own sooner or later?
Diane
