Maria, it is wonderful. You are so creative. Of course, I'm a little jealous, but that's OK. I still love your quilt.

OH MY! I am so impressed with this quilt. I love how personal it is, with all the touches of your home town. The colours are just perfect for a little girl. I love the butterflies - especially the ones with the circles on the wings. They are just under the crow/raven bird.

Your little frog is adorable and I'm very impressed, just blown away, by your design for dragonflies. They look really great. I can't believe you've just learned paper piecing! Your blocks are so crisp with such straight lines.

The watering can is just too cute and adds a nice touch. Your stippling/meandering is quite nice also. The picket fence is very colourful and just the perfect accent for the theme of this quilt.

Your god daughter is a very, very blessed little girl :)

Such a nice story to go along with this gorgeous quilt! I love your "art work". It makes the quilt original. I also love your little dragonflies. All the flowers, the frog, and watering can are perfect. I especially like the picket fence border. You did a great job and I can understand why you are glad it is finished. Some projects just keep on going and going........

Thanks for sharing it with all of us.
Have Fun,
