Very interesting, love the top one. How small are the bottom blocks - look to be about 3 inches square??

Littlebit, the small squares have turned out 3 1/2".
Shirley, the top star is also folded, only the technique/shape of folding is slightly different from the squares. It is paper that is often folded that way (look for patchwork cards). Love to all!
