Redtop, that's gorgeous!! I never would have thought about fussy-cutting a motif to use for the center circle---what a great idea! You coordinated all the colors just beautifully!

My little Brillo that passed away two months ago.

My first quilt for my oldest grand daughter.

This quilt I made while on a RV trip to hang in window of motor home.

My first project that's paper pieced. I took my grand childrens clothing and fussy cut some of the houses. My oldest grand daughter had left a pair of shorts for me to put a new zipper in but I decided to cut them up and put them in my quilt, she wasn't happy with me. :]

I love hummingbirds so I thought this would make a pretty wall hanging. It's appliqued and tiny two inch squares pieced from a kit. Lots of fun to make.

This is Candy Cane Lane from Els book. Have not got it quilted yet but will soon. I had to get my dgd to help me post these, it's still confusing to me. I think I will stick to quilting and let her post my pictures. :]

Sorry I posted the photos below on the wrong page. I now put them in my own discussion. Sorry but I don't know how to take them off of yours. :[

Lovely, That looks like a lot of work. Did you have to do needle turn to make this? I've never done any needle turn. I'm fixing to start a Scottie dog quilt for my brother, I plan to use EL's method of sewing the fusible and then turning. I've never done that either, but thought it would be best method for me to get good results. I envy anyone who can do applique. You have done an excellent job, any tips on the technique you used?
