Re: Starting to quilt my UFO/WIP
My machine is a Baby Lock Espire, with a 5.5 x 8 inch throat space, that comes in real handy. Yes, I use quilting gloves, but they are not really quilting gloves. My gloves are gardening gloves with rubberized palms and fingers and stretch fabric that helps them fit nice and snug. I paid $2.99 at Home Depot last spring and I would not give them up for the world.LOL Gloves are really handy when you have to quilt a large quilt like this one, it is a Queen/King size quilt.
Amiee, I am still debating on what set up to get. I like the versatility of quilting larger spaces using my Espire the way it is instead of using the Juki on a B-line with limited quilting area. That is not to say I don't want a frame setup, I just wish I could afford a larger machine.

Wow-that is a big quilt! I've never attempted one that big. But, your set up and your machine are better than mine at accommodating such a large quilt. It's a beautiful quilt, can't wait to see it finished. Don't hurt yourself.

Your Quilt is Wonderful. So is you Sewing Machine. Is it a Viking? It is a wonderful quilt. I know you spend a lot of time on it. The colors are terrific and all very well placed wth design and color.
