Football Jersey pillow covers

My daughter Autumn sent me Antonio‘s high school football jerseys and asked me to make big cushion covers out of them. Kind of a challenge. Nylon mesh jerseys don’t blend well with hot irons. And they needed stabilizer, which is hard to iron on with rubberized numbers and letters on the shirts. But I managed. Then I lined them with muslin. I used the sleeves, which had pretty cool logos, to make a small bolster cover. I will make that cushion myself from muslin and “fluff”. Autumn says this will be our Christmas gift to Antonio this year. I will wait until we get to Texas to buy the pillow forms.

Very nice Mary. Now that you're done, you can use parchment parchment to cover fabric and use higher heat. Something you wished I told you yesterday.
