Nice job, I like the colors. We all have the days that we have to rib, I know that I have had them. Came out nice.

Sue, it came out beautiful. I love it. you did a great job. Let me tell a secret, I don't pay attention either to errors. I make errors in my quilts too. Like my DH says, it's "hand made", it's normal it could have imperfections and that's the beauty of it.
I agree with MaryZ, relax and be proud!

It came out great. I had a teacher in high school (we used candles for light) and she said,"If you don't rip out some of your work you are not good at sewing. Only a true sewer recognizes inperfections and must correct them.

WOW! You did a fantastic job on that pretty tablerunner. I love the color mix and the direction of the blocks. I really had to hunt for the two side by side. What a warm inviting topper for your fall table. Thanks for sharing and good luck on the quilting.

It looks great! I like the advice you've been given and will try to remember it when I'm upset over my mistakes.

You did a fantastic job on this tablerunner. I love the muted colors. It would have helped to used a design wall to lay it out before you sewed it together ... that way you can see the problems before you have already sewn them.
I use a plastic picnic table cloth that is "flannel" backed attached to a wall ..... the flannel backing is perfect as a design wall covering. It grabs the pieces and holds them in place.
Keep up the good work ..

So pretty and great color combination. You will love using it and everytime you look at it you can be reminded of how thrilled you were when you found out your dear friend was moving home. What a wonderful way to remember such happiness!! Great advice from everyone, enjoy it and your friend.
Happy stitching!! Debi
