Sharon I just love this idea! What a special memory. I would have never thought to do this. I love it! And it will be like cuddling up with your Mom. You did a great job on it. Thank You for sharing.

PS: Sarah, I'll answer & hope that Sharon won't mind. A Duster is another name for a Housecoat that is lightweight, usually worn in the warmer months or climate. My Mom has sev. made from Seersucker. They also usually snap up the front or zip. HTH's

This one is seersucker and that's why I didn't think it would be very comfy to sleep on. But, that's ok. I have another seersucker one, a cotton one and a flannel. I might use the flannel one for my sister who lives in MN. @:)

What a great idea to preserve your loving memories.
I have a dress that belonged to my mother and I think now I know what to do with it. My mom passed away 15 yrs ago and this dress is still hanging in my closet.
