I'm sure she would have posted when it was done. We put it on the wall and it was stunning, so I took pics and decided to surprise her. This is her first attempt at quilting and she is doing a great job. She likes to think outside the box and do abstract. She has a good eye for color.

This is a really impressive project! She deserves to be very proud. This looks like something a very experienced quilter would tackle. Can't wait to see it when it's done! maryz

Thank you all for the nice comments. Pat (Sidesaddles) is such a scamp, but about the best friend a girl could have. I think she just wanted to show off her new design wall and just used my blocks as an excuse......LOL.
Sometimes I think this may have been a liitle ambitious for a first project, but I am enjoying learning.
Thanks again for the compliments and the encouragement.

BTW: I would have responded sooner, but was having problems with puter for some reason. Sorry.

Well I knew it would be beautiful (having see the table topper for your mom, but this is truly gorgeous (and VERY ambitious for a new quilter!)
