Thank you all for the nice comments. Yes, cindy and luv, it is out of a log cabin book, the log cabin diamond, i think. Not too sure it was the best choice for a first timer, but I am muddling through with the help of Pat (sidesaddles).......LOL. I am working on the quilt, one diamond at a time, so don't hold your breath for the finished product. But I will get there...I hope. Again, thanks.

PS: I guess I should have told you all it is a table "runner" for my mom. I just layed it on the bed for the picture because the colors stood out better. Thanks.

WOW! I must have been gone somewhere when this post showed up. That is so pretty. Looks very complicated for a first timer but you sure have the knack for quilting. Love your color choices. Rosebud, I am in San Jon, way over by the Texas state line on I-40.
