Vivien, your bag is really elegant - and impeccably made! Congratulations! I do not fancy black and white in quilts - but it is an excellent choice for a bag - to go with all kinds of clothing you wear. Haven´t you considered a zipper, too? I´d be afraid of having my valuables stolen with the open top ..

I only use this bag to carry quilting supplies with me. I don't use it as a purse......it's too big for that. But man does it ever carry a load of stuff!!
