Linda, yes D already has his quilt, now just waiting for his new twin mattress for this to go on. He picked out the sashing that's why we have "checkered flag" fabric

Rdsaltbox yes those were charms that I got home & said "why did I buy these" But they are exactly the colors my aunt likes & I put it together in a hurry

ipquilter I got some of the fabric @ Joann's, some on ebay cause DGS loves Kasey Kayne & some at the LQS. I bought way too much cause I didn't know what I was going to make so used it for the backing
