Donna, that is my older daughter's favorite one too. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy they have been to make. My estimated cost per bag is under $1.50!!! I bought the oilcloth for 6.99 a yard and can get 6 out of a yard since I am mixing and matching the oilcloth designs and can slightly adjust the size as needed for the fabric..
Cute and easy gift bags and will be very useful. My younger daughter has already picked out 2 for her gifts :)

Great idea. I may have to try some. I like making the grocery bags using shade cloth instead of the more expensive pet screen. Oil cloth may work for the grocery bags, too.
Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy seeing what everyone has been up to.

These are beautiful. I had made one of Camoflauge for my son to take for school. I also made a couple matching napkins. (so I could trade them out). Think Green! Love it!

http://www.mendels.com/fabrics10.shtml' ... cs10.shtml

this gives a description of oilcloth. I have a local store that carries a huge variety for 6.99 a yd which has made this fun I buy 1/2 yd of various styles and then mix and match.
