how thoughtful of you to give away such a beautiful quilt. I, too, can see skyscrapers. I am sure the person will love it.

WOW, Great work on the quilting. It is very beautiful. One of these days I want to make a Bargello. Just need to get up the confidence.

Thank you all. I guess it's probably not a true bargello, just my version. I used all my green and blue scraps that were already in strips from selvage to selvage - no matter how wide. Then I tried to line them up from darkest to lightest. I cut the blue grouping first and knew I wouldn't have enough to have a good width, so then the greens came out. It didn't come out the way I was picturing in my head, but I like it. So if you have a lot of strips, just put them all together in a length you like, cut them into strips lengthwise, shuffle and resew! The twisted bargellos are the ones I think look complicated.
