Thanks everyone....Most of these are wall hangings,,,,I have made a lot of stuff,but keep in mind that for years I have been pretty much housebound due to my illnesses,so I did have a lot of time.There are a lot of things I cant do,like mop my floors,scrub out the tub ,,mow the grass,,,most everything I do is at waist level,and I can sit and do most of my sewing. I am so blessed that I have a good hubby that helps ,,,he does what I cant,,,and between us we "Git er done",,,I am thankful for the gift God gave me to be able to learn and create pretty things,or I would probably be much worse off.Sometimes I would give up some of my quitling to be able to get out and do "normal" things that many women take for granted.But I guess its how we look at it,,,is the glass half full or half empty? Beautiful work! You are really talented!
DH and I have to 'share the load' these days too, and like you, I can sit and quilt (even if the floor needs swept - just have to hope someone will come along and do it.)
Traded some quilt making lessons with a neice to get some of the major cleaning done LOL.
