Pat it is funny you mention the fat cat fish... those are the ones I wanted to do... those are the ones Jake said looked fake... we spend our lives at the aquarium and he skin dives and kayaks with his Dad... so I found a few different coloring pages at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and made my own appliques from those! I do love fat cats patterns though... I am making the dresden lions for Kyle!

Cheers!

Lori (zfatcat)- I was thinking of quilting it with bubble shapes... and waves for the border! What do you think?

Cheers!

OH! Alina, that's JUST BEAUTIFUL! I hope Jake appreciates all the time and love you put into his quilt!

Hey, you want to see some big-a** catfish? Head over to the Wild Animal Park, take the trail through Heart of Africa down to the lake area. There is a bridge where there are vending machines to buy pellets to feed the birds, but you can give them to the catfish as well. Some of them have mouths that are 8 or 10 inches across, easy! They fight the birds, and each other, to get to the food, and there are a LOT of them this year.

Okay, you gals from the south are probably thinking these are mere guppies compared to the ones you see...but we *are* Californians, after all...ya gotta cut us some slack! lol
