I'm involved with a BOM group at a LQS. Since it is offered in 2 color ways, I'm making 2 blocks a month. Because we're going on vaca, I did my early so a friend could take them in.
Cut them both out with same tools, sewed on same machine with same foot. Why is one smaller than the other?????

It's happened to me too and all I can figure is that some fabric stretches more when it's sewn.

Im wondering if it has anything to do with Just maybe were not relaxed enough and were pulling the fabric as we sew and that causes it to strech or maybe sometimes were angry and pull the fabric .

Happens to me, and I get soooooooooo angry because I am so meticulous when it come to measuring. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
