How about try using other 4 blocks this time do on point.Than add thin white border finish with wider butterflys. That way 4 patch will be in a row.

I think you made the right decision of cutting down the border, I think it will look very nice the way you describe finishing it :)

Rommel,
I saw a table runner done on point. I'm not sure if I can do that. The blocks aren't perfectly square b/c they are OOPS blocks. LOL

I will play around with it and see if I can make that happen b/c I would prefer it that way.

I hope to finish it tomorrow afternoon.

As long as blocks are same size( equal) it will work for placing on point. Heres a site for setting triangles.. www.quilterscache.com/H/howtomakesettingtriangles.html
Makes it alot easier shows chart for sizes.. Good luck..
