Re: More peeled back stuff....
They are easy.Ill try to explain. You make your block like a normal one, except on the "peeled back" part you will use two blocks the same size.Instead of it being a half square triangle, you will fold one square(the one you want to fold back),fold it on the diagonal and place it in the corner so its sandwiched in when you construct the block. After the block is done, the folded square will be loose on the diagonal edge. You just take ahold of it and roll it back and sew it down.Does that make sense? If you look at the picture maybe you can tell better. There are no half square triangles, those are the folded squares...

Very pretty! Dark fabrics alway add some "accent" to the block!
I would have a suggestion: How about trying to cut the "folded" square a bit SMALLER than the basis. In this way fidgeting with too much bulk in the corners and getting "chopped off" points might be avoided ... Watching your block it occurred me also that those green leaves might have been sewn separately (to layers sewn together and turned via a small opening)and only then put on the white square with the stalk and all of them would be then sewn to the neighbouring pieces. "Leaves" may also be obtained by putting two "peels" in two corners (on the diagonal) of a rectangle. What do you think of that?
