Oncology support Group

Evie, we are called, The Good Shepherd Oncology Support Group. It is a church group in a small town about 10 miles from where I live. I found this group, or should I say this group found me, at Walmart.LOL One of their members was shopping in the fabric department and she stopped to admire some fabric I was buying for some placemats. She started talking to the sales clerk about this group and it turned out that they had given the clerk's mother a quilt a few years before. Her mom had since passed but she was telling us how happy it had made her mother to get the quilt, booties and cap. Mary Catherine, support group member, gave us her phone number to donate fabric and notions, well one thing led to another and now I join them once a week. It has been a wonderful experience.

We get together on Wed. and work on quilts, booties, and hats for chemo patients.

What beautiful projects are underway! I also like all of the aprons that you are wearing. Good cause and I am sure those that receive your gifts are delighted.

What a wonderful project.

What is the name of your group? Is it the same as the title to this post or something else?

I have been trying to find a booty pattern to sew Christmas presents with. What do the booties you make look like?

Bless you for the work that you are doing.
