I made this gingerbread man tree skirt after a class given at our quilt guild last year.

Calico, love your tree skirt!

Green is my favorite color; the tree skirt I made a couple years back is mostly green. Looking at it now, I might choose different fabrics if I were to make one today, but I love it for what it is--one of my first big accomplishments as a quilter.

Calicopuzzle, I love your log cabins! Those greens will match the Christmas tree perfectly! But I am quite amazed LOL because of another thing too: guess what was my last project to finish before Christmas! A Christmas tree - well, not skirt, but mat ... And guess what design I had chosen, drawn myself (I had no pattern)and made??? You will find a picture in your mail-box... There must have been some telepathy between us!

How cute is that I love gingerbread men and this is just adorable. The log cabins work perfectly to frame the men!
