Thanks for your comments & suggestions. We have had to rethink this design. I am going to have to put the long side to the wall so he is going to make it U shaped but still very similar to this design. I got this on the web site that someone suggested. I think if you highlight the web site above the picture it will take you to it.
Will copy our final plan when we finish "tweaking" it and post it. Cyber Sue, you know us too well to think we have done more than research. We research faster than we work. LOL

Let me clear this up. This is a picture of someone else's sewing room that I found on the internet. SIL cyber Sue will tell you that you would never find mind this straight. Clutter is my middle name. Didn't want anyone who knows me to think I've gone off the deep end and gotten this neat. LOL
