The quilt behind DD is a Christmas table toppper I made. Sat last nite watching a movie with DD and sewed the binding on by HAND !!!

It's just a practice one, because it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, a lot of the corner pieces didn't match up right, so I wouldn't be anything I'd give to anybody. But that Red pointsetta fabric has sparkles on it so I just HAD to buy it. Might even force myself to go back to Joann for some MORE!

Not sure what I did, but the bottom green/white corners sure didn't match up very well! Oh well, it was practice!

Your daughter and Grandaughter are both gorgeous! I give that look to my DH all the time lol! I love the tabletopper! great fabric.

What great pictures! Your DD looks a little less than thrilled about the prospect of sewing BUT you DGD has that "quilters look" about her I must say!!! Thanks for sharing...

Beautiful DD and GD.
I don't think its necessary that everything we do has to be perfect. If we want perfection we could buy our quilts from QVC or HSN but then they wouldn't truly be ours.
