Aha! Pretty neat! And I see that the pattern is free with the purchase of the Magic Vine Sampler pack, which is only $12.95 and has 82 5" squares in it! Pretty good deal! Do you remember how many 5" squares it took, knitnoid?

It takes 72 5" print squares, plus another 9 'background' 5" squares. The 'background' in my quilt is the soft white.

I just finnished one of these in a reproduction fabric for children. I made it into a baby quilt. It is such a fun pattern, I do love the colors in yours.

I'm so amazed by how you explain it is done.
Does not look like 5" sq.
I love the end result, very nicely done.
