Re: Blue Baby Dreams
Thanks for the directions Quiltcreator. . . .
I think I will try to make up a small one (for a child) today with some of the scraps I have setting on my cutting table. I was going to clean and scrub the patio. . . . .but there is always tomorrow for that.

I love the quilt - and thanks for the directions. But I have to confess my ignorance - I don't know what a jelly roll is (in terms of quilting, that is!). Someone help, please!

Re: Blue Baby Dreams
gmaann, a jelly roll is a bunch of 2 1/2" strips precut and rolled up. It's usually one of each fabric in a collection and has become a hot thing in the last year or so. Of course you can cut your own strips. And the jelly rolls may not work so well for this unless you want the quilt to be really scrappy. I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have suggested that - didn't think about them all being different!

Thanks, QC! Now that you describe them, I know I've seen them in the LQS. I do love scrap quilts, so maybe I should give a jelly roll a try! Your quilts are OUTSTANDING!! Thanks for sharing the photos with us.

Thank you for asking what a jelly roll was 'cause I didn't have a clue either.

I'm bringing this to the top for Georgiapeach - she's going to make one (or 2) this weekend!

This is wonderful. I see this in all colors. I am considering doing it in greens and blues for my DGS new bedroom. A job well done.
