Hi Caroline,
These are wonderful! Yes, Eleanor loves antique sewing items. She loves going to Antique shops and seaching for old patterns, quilts, and sewing notions. So much fun!

Love the antiques Caroline... I have quite a few of my grandmother's sewing items as well. Both my grandmothers! I my maternal grandmothers Treadle sewing machine and her sewing basket. Also have my paternal grandmothers knitting needles! While cleaning out one of my closets I came across a baby sweater and hat that my Grandmother made.... So I gave it to my son for his baby Evie-- a sweater from her great great grandmother! I love antiques, especially things that have been in the family!

I have my grandmother's silver thimble which I use because it is the only one that will fit my small finger. I also have her crane embroidery scissors and an old needle package. I did have her old black singer featherweight but it smelled so bad of mold and mildew and was not in very good condition, that I gave it away a long time ago. Of course I am regretting that now!

Love these and to have them from your own family is even better.
