Mid-arm machine question

Post by TooMuchFabric » Sat Dec 29, 2007 6:57 am

What is the throat space on the mid-arm machines? I have seen home machines from about 5 inches to 9 inches.

I think the mid arms are considered to be the ones 16, 17 or 18 inches. The home machines are 6 to 9 inch throats. And, of course, you've got the longarms which are 20 inches & up.
Hope this helps.

Midarms are anything between 10"-17". Anything over 18" is a longarm. Anything under 10" is a shortarm. If you type in "midarm" into SEARCH, you can read all of the topics and replies. Amie
