I got a Janome 6600P just a couple of weeks ago and she is so very sweet! I paid $1400.00 for her. I am not bragging they have a huge mark up and you can say you had a quote from someone else with that price. They won't be insulted by it and will match the price or might give you other insentives. I got a box with threads, thread holder, needles and a needle holder, also a couple of DVD's to get started.
