Quilter916 - you can quilt for others someday. But you will need to practice on your own quilts, oh let's say at least 15 or 20, before you will be ready to quilt for other people. Who's going to keep track?? ROFLOL

I have an APQS Liberty. Don't do customer quilts, but do some for friends when they need it. Have done charity quilts, and plan to do some more.

I quilt for myself and my quilt guild members. I also do KID (kids in distress) quilts and donate them to the sheriffs dept.

There's another long arm quilter among us but she's not speaking up here. She quilted something for me and it's perfect - exactly what I wanted. But it's not up to me to blab her name if she doesn't want to post here herself.

OK Cindyg I wasn't going to say anything. I do quilt for others I love what I am doing. I was in home health for years but the stress I would bring home from taking care of others just became so much. So 3 years ago I told my dh I wanted to do what I want for the rest of my working years and he said to save everything I make until I had the money and it took me 2 years. I bought my Gammill in July 2006 and I started a quilting business in my home. (Beverly's Quilting) Most of my quilts come thru the mail I have met many wonderful quilters. I love what I am doing. I quilt many donation quilts for my 2 guilds and I quilt the breast cancer quilts for Satin Stitches in Columbia Mo. Thanks Cindy for your comments. Your work is beautiful.
