Quilting on a quick-turn

Post by sidesaddles » Sat Oct 30, 2010 6:05 pm

If I do the quick-turn method, can I still quilt it on a longarm machine?

I would think that you could - just have to be careful in adding the leaders to the top and bottom of the quilt - not to get any of the quilting in that edge so that you could remove the leaders.

I always make my back longer so that I can quilt to edge - but I have never done the quick turn on my LA. I have machine quilted on my regular machine using a quick turn.

Good Luck

Thanks, Jana. I'm going to give it a try.
