I just received a card about this new software. Does anyone know anything about it? It is probably expensive...just looks very interesting.

Is this something that goes with your regular sewing machine?

The advertisement is from my local machine dealer but it references The Grace Company. I have the Little Gracie II frame.

There are several, the most common is the PC Quilter for smaller quiting systems. There are many to use with LA, most are brand specific. HTHs Amie )

I saw the ad for a aftermarket computerized quilter to add to my Pfaff Grandquilter and frames - I called and it was over $3000 for the device and then you had to add software on top of it - A little to pricey for me - I will wait and hope that the price drops as more companies may add their own versions. I wish that some engineer would come up with a deep depth throat on a sewing machine that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!!!!

I have the Grace Pinncle frame that can be set up crib size and up to king size 120". Right now I'm using my Juki on it and gain a lot of experiencing using the Pentohgraphd with the stylus, as well as free motion. I also can use the laser light and follow a pattern that I print out from EQ6. I have had it for about one year now. In the beginning I was very overwhelmed with it all. But am gaining more and more confidence. Loading a quilt, batting and backing on this set up is a breeze. I am now saving up for a Baby Locke Jewel 10"

Viola - Sorry I didn't see this sooner - I love my Grandquilter except for one thing - After I get a twin size quilt almost finished, the take up arm is quite full and doesn't leave me much room for the next row of quilting, so I am finding near the end I am rolling it more often. Other than that it is great. I used some cheap thread, I thought was a good name brand and it broke every other stitch. Switched to Guttermann thread and had no more problems. I am still learning to use the machine and have only done a couple of quilts on it. Just meandering stitches for now. I hope to get to be able to do feathers, cables and the like shortly. I also made some cloth leaders that I sacrifice with every quilt so that I have a straight line to place the fabric on the rods. This way I can do it alone and have a straight quilt to work on. It is on a Grace Frame and the carriage moves very easy and doe not tire out my hands. I have a tall bar stool with a back so I can sit and do the quilting - just have to move the chair every so often.

Any more questions I will be glad to try and answer - soonere this time

I was looking at this online, the only price I could find was around $5200, that's from the Grace company. I really want something like this, but I have to buy a frame first:)

BTW, how do you like your Little Gracie II frame? This is the one I'm looking at now, I have a Brother QC-1000 that I might use on it...
