SewSew. You are so fortunate to have received such an offer. I have always wanted to learn long arm quilting but have no idea how to begin researching for a teacher. I don't think they teach this in any continueing ed. classes at the local colleges. If I took lessons and thought I could work hard at learning the crat, I would try to purchase one. Does anyone have any ideas about how I might be able to find lessons? I live in Brandon, Florida (a nearby suburb of Tampa)

QuilyQueen, ask at your LQSs. They may have an instructor at their store or know of one.

SewSew - have you had your adventure yet?

Cindyg, not yet. I am sending her another email today to touch base and try and set a date to get started. We both wanted to wait until after the kids were back in school from spring break. I am very excited and anxious to get started.

I will be leaving on the 17th or 18th for Paducah, I hope I will be able to get my first lesson before then.

Cindy, I have been soooo busy lately that we have not had a chance to get together. I really need to make time before too much longer.
