I have the exact same setup as Quilterbee. Personally I wouldn't attempt to quilt without my cruise (speed) control. It just takes one big worry out of the equation.

I too have a king size frame, which can hold a LA machine, but currently it is my Juki riding on it's frame. I'm planning to buy a Lizzy hopefully in the next few years. Even tho the Lizzy is not OVER 18", I was told that it is called a LA machine. I am doing 6" spaces at a time with my Juki, and I'm sure that in time I would like to be able to do larger spaces. My frame is compatible to hold either one of these.
