I have a Pfaff 2140 that has been upgraded with software and new stitches. I absolutly love it. I do a lot of embroidery work. I did names on towels for my friend who works at a retirement home. I did not get the digitizing program as I did not want to learn that much. The dealer here gives classes and is a great help in answering questions and does a great job on service. I buy my programs from many sources, locally and on the internet. The machine sews like a dream and I have had no problems with it and I have owned it for just over five years. It was pricey and at first I decided it cost too much, but sweet husband knew better and finally talked me into it and am I glad he did. The built in stitches are great and it is easy to learn the basic operation of the embroidery unit. I did a wedding quilt for my older son, and his younger brother learn to run the machine and helped me do the embroidery and the patchwork for the quilt. Any questions I would be glad to answer if you have them.
