Where are you in Australia?

Hi Aussie I have heard there is a fabric district in New York you may want to try to find it. I think Benartex fabrics have their place there. This is what line of fabric Eleanor at QIAD carrys. You can look up www.benartex.com Maybe someone else can help with fabric shops. I have always wanted to go check out the fabric district.


Does anyone know about more fabric districts in the US.

Hi Aussie! Nice to have you here! I assume you mean NYC when you say NY? :) I wouldn't be much help to you there but if you come to Buffalo or Rochester... I've heard the fabric district in NYC is great but I've never been there.

I don't know about NY, but LA has a fabric district I've heard is great. Not quite sure how to find one except going with someone that has been. Good Luck and welcome to the forum!....yeah, it's 2:30 am & I couldn't sleep.
