Quilt in a Day Forums

I'm looking for State patches.My DH I went cross country in his rig last July.We went through 9 states.This was a first for me,because usually I go out of the country.I saw how beautiful our country is and I thought of making a quilt.One block putting the state patch and the other block it's state flower.Out of 9 states I only found 5.For instance:Iowa is known for it's corn,so I have an Iowa patch with 2 ears of corn.I need Nevada,Utah,Minnisota and Wisconsin.I will be willing to pay for them.They range from $2.99-$4.99.On the trip I didn't get Arizona,so when Hubby had a run there he found one for me.On the label where the patch was connected to it had a website.To my BIG surprise,they weren't selling patches,it was a porn site.It almost crashed my computer,it's a virus.Fortunately my daughter caught it in time and saved my computer.So I'm asking please can anyone help me?Thank You-Yvette

Do you have one from Virginia? If not PM me with your address and I'll be glad to. Maybe something to do with George Washington since this is his birth place. Or something else.

IF I get out shopping this weekend, depending on the weather I'll see if I can find a Minnesota patch for you! There's got to be a place close by that carries them. I know there's a huge truck stop not far from my closest Target--so I'll check there and see what I can find!

Are you planning on collecting all 50 states for the quilt or just from the states you have traveled through???? If you need one from Texas let me know. Will send.

Thanks everyone.Right now I'm looking for just those states for that particular quilt.I went on ebay and bought Nevada,Utah,California.When we were traveling the only places we stopped was at truck stops.That's where I found my first pataches.But the more I think of it,yes I want to collect all 50 states.I have Hawaii already,I was there two years ago.Thanks again-Yvette
