Okay everybody
Here's preliminary info. I'll make a whole new topic once I get the final draft done!
Was thinking about making a small survey of questions so I can give some ideas to your Santa.
1. what is your favorite color
2 what is your LEAST favorite color
3 do you collect anything... like knick-knacks
for example Penguin figurines or snowman figurines etc etc
Can you think of anything other "getting to know you" questions I should list? I am open to LOTS of suggestions here!
What do you think is a reasonable dollar limit? $10? $20?
Remember we just want to have fun and not stress--Lord knows none of needs more stress in their lives. And we all come from different financial backgrounds so we don't need any strain on our budgets. I for one am never concerned if what I give is more than what I get.
Many years ago, my siblings and the "in-law" sibs used to draw names for Christmas and I had a relative that said something like "What if you spend more on so and so than so and so spends on you" I just about fell over. I don't care! That isn't the point of Christmas giving. It's about GIVING and sharing and showing love and affection and honor for other people. It's not about what we GET! My heart is so full from all the love, support, kindness and joy I have found here at QIAD that sometimes I think I'll burst. So, it is in that spirit that I want to do Secret Santa. I'd send each and every one of you the moon if I could!
Please send along any ideas you have!

maryq, great idea. Each of these things gets us better acquainted.
Couple suggestions:
1. Do you have a favorite character, ex. Mickey Mouse,
2. Do you have a favorite sport, ex. football
3. Do you have a favorite sport's idol, ex. John Elway
4. Others?
Just thinking that some ideas along these lines would lend themselves to nice gifts--even fabric ones now days.
