I edited the original post.... all the same blocks.... closer to 20-25 max.

Do not square up the blocks means leave them slightly oversized (so that they can be matched up by whomever get them to all the same size). Sometimes our 1/4 inch seam is different - just like all of us are different!

Thought I would do a later swap date so that some of the other swaps would be closed by then...and to give us all (me included) time to make these.

Please use LQS or good quality 100% cotton fabric - but it doesn't have to be pieced - it can be applique, foundation pieced, etc! (Sometimes I think the best quilt block to fit me would be a CRAZY quilt!)

Prewash fabric or not?

Don't get excited, this doesn't mean I'm signing up! YET! LOL :)

I would suggest prewashed fabric. Most of my stash is prewashed.

CindyB, you know I have to join my friend on this one. I will have to think what block I want to make but this is a great idea.

I was already starting to think that the fall would be a quiet time with no swaps for me. Thanks for coming up with this one. I always find it easier to keep going when I am doing something to share with others. It even helps me get my own ufo's done becaue then I feel guilty that they are just sitting there.LOL

Well, I told myself no more swaps till after Xmas! But fall colors are my favorite and I have some laying around and that "Road to California" block is pretty easy so I guess I am in! Just please be flexible on the date. And not too many blocks. 20 - 25 will be perfect.

I had someone PM me with an idea.

Everyone make 20 blocks, and no matter how many people join, you will get 20 back!

If you want someone special to get a block, please make a note on that block!!!

DON'T FORGET TO ADD LABELS FOR THE BLOCKS!
