Okay, the first sample block is posted. Beware ladies. Allow at least 4 hours for this one from start to finish. That includes cutting. If you decide you want to start early here are some tips:

1) Read all the directions for the block first. You may want to read them a second time.
2) This should have first. Pick your fabric in good light. The one I thought was brown actually turned out to be a dark purple!
3) There are many different size cuts in this block. Check and double check before cutting! After already recutting some pieces, my center block turned out to be 4 1/4 and not 4 3/4. I went ahead and finished with lots of pulling but be real careful.
4) Lots of bias edges, be careful.
5)If you have not changed your needle, do so now. Some of the seams are pretty thick.
6) Do not square until El tells you too. Even if it seems like you should.
7)I highly recommend a practice block before the real thing.

So if you aren't ready, that is fine. There is no hurry. We don't start for 10 days or so.

OK, Dumb Dumb here, where is the first block posted? Are you talking a picture, or just the explanation from WeSig?

I am so excited, don't want to miss a thing.

Thanks, Bobbi

Thanks zfatcat, I found it.

WeSig - it is gorgeous (sp?) I am excited to try it.

Did anyone get a catalog from Connecting Threads? The Irrisitible Indigo is the fabric I have purchased for my sampler. This is going to be so much fun.

Love that Indigo fabric. It is truely irresistable and I may need to get some!

It is a rich fabric with a great feel. I haven't washed it yet, hope the soft feeling stays. I need to get a bunch of things done around here so I can start!!

HugANurse I could only find a charm pack with the indigo. Very nice colors. That was just on the website. Hopefully I'll get the catalog too. They have great fabrics.

Evie those are beautiful. I may have to get some for my pioneer sampler. I "need" some blues.
