Welcome fatcat. You'll be up to speed on this project in no time. The website actually has some more kits for this quilt...and I am sorely tempted to get one. So far, everything has gone together well. See previous postings for possible suggestion of cutting wagon wheel centre circle a little larger for an easy fit.

So glad to hear that zfatcat is joining us!! Can't wait to see the photos, need to try to do that myself. Better go, have FQs and jelly rolls to cut and 5:00 am will come very quick tomorrow.

Happy stitching!!!

I'm sewing the 6 inch blocks and like them so well that I've started cutting for a second small quilt. I'm uneasy about printing the 'story' block and thinking of inserting a second log cabin block in its place. Both quilts will go to pet shelter fundraisers and I can print the story on paper and pin to the back of the quilt. Is it ok to copy the story page as long as credit is given to Eleanor and her special book?

It's been fun sewing along with all of you!!

Kittymom-why don't you pm Linda about the block? I don't think there would be a problem, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. What a great fund raising idea.
