The Official Secret Santa 2024

Looks like every one has posted their hints!! Thank you!! My new "rule of thumb" was "No Hints.... No Santa"
We're a small group this year so it will be easy to draw names. You will receive a PM from me Probably on MONDAY!!! So keep your eyes open.
I don't think I need to remind you about the SPIRIT of giving!! Your hints are just that.. HINTS.. general ideas etc. Hints are in place so that a Santa doesn't send ORANGE to a person who hates ORANGE. And by all means,.... the hints do not mean you have to buy everything on that person's list. You get my drift?

This year's theme is...........................
"Tis A Season"
Notice "A" season.... not "THE" season.
So here's what this year's theme is all about.
In your hints (another topic I'll start in a bit) You will let your Santa know what OTHER season of the year you could use some hand made decor for. For example: I might say I could use some spring Mug Rugs, or spring place mats or something spring-y for my front door. Or I could say my table needs a fall table runner. Get it?
When you list your "season" list a few options that you would like to give your Santa some ideas. Don't be way too specific so that your Santa doesn't say "ACCCHH I don't know how to do that"!!! Most of all, no matter what, be gracious in your giving and in your receiving.
We've done this for long enough for y'all to know "the rules" So I won't go into all that again. (If you really need to see, search for previous years info)
Here's the dates to Remember:
1.) Sign up by August 24th---that's a full two weeks from today
2.) Names will be given out no later than September 1st and probably earlier
3.) Your gift MUST be in the mail no later than November 22nd!!! This is really important, as y'all know how busy the Post Office gets this time of year. Normally I would say the Friday after Thanksgiving, but Thanksgiving is really late this year. Please LET ME KNOW when you have mailed you gift Privately.
4.) Opening day will begin December 8th. As always NO PEEKING!!
And here's just something I'd like to say................
We all have different budgets to work with, and y'all know the cost of everything is going up and up all the time. (I faint when I go to the grocery store) SO please stay within your own budget, and don't stress about sending "Enough" . What you send from your heart is ALWAYS enough!!! Most of all, just enjoy the spirit of the holiday.
If you've never joined Secret Santa before, please consider joining this year. It's always been so much fun, as I think others will tell you.
