Here is April's block. This is a MSQC tutorial. We will use bold colors (that means nothing pastel) with white background, Prefer solid background but if you don't have one, just use WOW. . I have no clue what the opposite of pastel is? I know this is an easy block as not only did I do a pretty good job, but this quilt was the first quilt for one of the ladies I have been quilting with in Vacaville. She did an excellant job with it. I was amazed as she had no quilting experience. This is a 16 inch finished block.
A few hints:
1. I think it lays flatter when you press the seams open, she tried it both ways and yes, open was better
2. Remember that precuts are not always exact. I used a Bella Solid by Moda and it is 10 inches one direction and 10.25 the other. Square up your precuts if you use them.
