I looked at the pattern and yes the blocks are 11 inches unfinished so things are working out good!

Ok, this block has been a learning experience, it helps to follow directions and not rely on your memory, lol, 1st attempt I cut one of the lines at 1 1/2", gets you a lopsided pinwheel, 2nd attempt didn't square up the pinwheel to 6 1/4" gets you a 12 1/2" square, but I am learning, Happy New Year to everyone. Kathy, I'm not good at following directions either. I put the tutorial on my tablet and stopped and started the video with each step.

I want to give this a try. The singular block makes sense, but the rest of the quilt has me totally flummoxed. I will order the ruler and post once I’ve made my attempt.

Thanks!

Ok I reread the info and see the template is for March. It looks scary!!😱

Sharona we will be more than pleased to have you join. I have done a similar quilt and its not that hard. One of those easier than it looks quilts. Yes the template is for March. Just wanted to give a heads up so people have time to get one.

Triplets! I also bring up the tutorial on my laptop and take it to the sewing room and start, stop it as I make the first block.

And I think I have that ruler for March already. Yay for me!

Well, I think I have mastered this square, I have 8 squares done, looks good on my wall can't wait to get the other squares at the end of the month (Chriss), lol, once I slowed down and got the right rulers out, it worked great. KathyR
