Home Sweet Home Swap - CLOSED

We haven't swapped blocks for a while and I think it's time! So here is a new swap for y'all! Our theme will be Home Sweet Home. Whatever "home" means to you. It doesn't have to be YOUR home - but it can be anybodys (or anything's!). Your house. Your parents' house. God's house. Your dog's house. Cat basket? Got a homeless bird? Pet Spider? Goldfish? How about Wikiaups? Teepees? Barns? Igloos? Whatever you decide constitutes a home.
12-1/2" blocks
Pieced, Appliqued, or paper pieced works.
Please only use embellishments that you would not mind sewing over with your own machine.
BAckground can be anything that you think goes with your "home" - quilters choice.
You have until March 28 to sign up and then 8 weeks after that to make your blocks. And a couple days to mail. Let's say they need to be in my mailbox by June 1st.
There are a few rules to our QIAD swaps. So just a reminder:
1. If you sign up, it is a commitment and you must follow through. No backsies!
2. Deadlines! Double check them and please don't be late.
3. Blocks must be correct size. Please measure. Do NOT Square them up. Put your name someplace on the block, front or back or in the seams.
4. please post a weekly update on your progress, here, on this thread. This is where all communication takes place from you and from me. And here is where pictures get posted, too! It's where I'll post when I receive your blocks and where you post when you receive them back.
5. Don't forget to include return postage, preferably cash, but I'll take a check, too.
I will be returning your blocks to you Priority. I already have the padded envelopes.
Questions? Feel free to PM, text, e-mail, snail mail, or call me. But if you post them, then everyone can see the answer, because you're probably not the only one with the question. I'll post more details if/when I think of them. Have fun with these blocks!
