Here's the news you've been waiting for!

Welcome to March Lotto. This link will take you to the directions for this months block. Look at the picture of the completed quilt, this is what our end goal is. The winner can hopefully arrange the blocks in a rainbow type pattern. Each color flows into the next. The cutting directions are in the picture below it. I recommend cutting your white first.
As in the PICTURE of completed block, EACH block should be it's own colorway. ie: all strips yellow, all strips green, all strips blue and so on. What colors you use is up to you. Think RAINBOW! But if possible, do not make them all the same. You can start with a strip that is 11 x 3 inches so you can square it up and have accurate cuts. Or those of you who are thinker ahead (that would not be me!) and already have 2 1/2 inch strips cut, will only need to cut your lengths.
Practicing once again 1/4 inch seams, accurate cutting. Lets see if we can get our white squares in a perfect diagonal with the corners crisp and matching!
Mary's Note: I've made a couple practice ones. When they say "scant" they mean SCANT!! On my machine I set the needle for 1/4" then moved it over like 3 "clicks", so maybe a couple threads worth shy of 1/4". I also cut my strips a couple threads wider than 2.5". I know every machine is a tad different, but that's what worked for me.
Here's one practice... You'll notice it is a little wonky in the middle? Hench "practice"
Once again you will mail to me, Valerie will have a couple busy months with weddings etc and will be back probably in May! Any questions, check with Val!
Here's few in different colors... I'm thinking this is the look Val is going for...at least I hope so!
RECEIVED:
Maryq 7 blocks (made more, but sending only the good ones
Maryz 8 blocks
Chriss 4 blocks
Kathy R 8 blocks
Valerie 7 blocks
Teresa. 6 blocks
That makes 40 blocks if I added right.
