Mary I need to buy stock in best press I use so much of it.

Yes it would be great if Chriss won, but even greater if I did! Dad is retired from pulling names so hoping mine will now be drawn.

Maryz, well there's something I hadn't thought of. Winning blocks and making them into charity quilts. DUH. I think I will win this one and perhaps the next.

Valerie, Sadly, since dad is no longer drawing, that doesn't give you an advantage. You are too honest, and don't cheat. It's one of the reasons I try to not miss the lotto. Your odds of winning are no greater than anyone else's. But it is a nice thought.

Maryq, go ahead and address that envelope and get ready to send those blocks to me.

Chriss, UHM, I will need to work on a plan. Yes your not the only person who tells me complete honesty is not always best.

But I really would like to win this one.

If enough send in blocks, maybe we can have 2 winners again!

Maryq you can put anyone's name, just put My address!

What a great idea KathyR.

Hope to catch up with all the happenings by Sunday. Been focusing in DD quilt. It is done and going to quilter tomorrow.

Kathy

LOVE the Christmas Blocks! What a super Idea. I have a bunch of Christmas jelly rolls strips left over from another project! Thanks for giving me the idea for another UFO

I tried a block and didn't come out acceptable. I wished I hadn't had the strips cut before MaryZ posted about extra length. Oh well, I have a start on 2 1/2" strips now. I will pass this month and cross my fingers for Valerie. All the blocks are very pretty and colorful.

Valerie, I love Best Press too. Shortly after it came out, I went to their website and bought 2 Gallons, one for me and one as a Christmas gift for my DSIL. In fact, the company messed up and sent a second order. I called to return them and they said it would cost too much to ship back. We agreed on a price and I kept them. I fill up bottles when I'm at my stash in Estes Park. Lyn

BTW..... HUGE fan of Best Press here too.

Here's a hint... if you have a Menards near you... they carry it... or the did the last time I was there for $5.49 a bottle.. WAY less than Joann at $9.99. I dilute mine about 1:1 with water and it stretches it out a bit!
