Quilt in a Day Forums

I have three blocks done will send out Friday. I have a hard time calling these blocks and a harder time not trimming them. LOl

Oh I understand! But when the winner gets them and trims them to her liking they will be blocks. I had a hard time deciding if we should trim them or not but since rulers are not all the same, decided against it. Thanks so much for participating.

Forgot to add my hint:

As I was sewing these together, I noticed that there was a slight bow in them, same as you get when when you sew strips together (which they actually are). I started sewing them switching starting ends and it straightened them out.

ie: sew from the black end, then next book sew from the color end. And sew on......

I am afraid that for my first time ever, I'm going to have to withdraw from this month's lotto. I just realized that we are leaving for Texas in only 9 weeks. And I need to finish three quilts, make enough mug rugs (using Chriss's paper pieced elf pattern) for all of Autumn's staff, and then there's Secret Santa coming up. I have so much on my sewing table (that was embarresslingly empty a month ago) that I have to start setting priorities. I'm sorry.

I never did get to the post office this week. My car broke so it will be late next week before I get to mail my blocks.

Maryz, can you post a picture of those elves? I bet they are cute.

I am still out as I am on vacation and non of these fabrics do I have. Plus having to much fun with friends and family to sit inside and sew. The weather is beautiful in Womelsdorf, PA

Sorry I did not get blocks sent out Friday I will send them Tuesday. Its a long storybut they will go out Tuesday.
