Welcome to September Lotto Winner Posted

Chriss - 6
Maryq - 4

Decided to step out of the box a bit and do a book shelf quilt. I have wanted to make for a long time. The easiest instructions I have found are the MSQC tutorial. Here is the tutorial link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDq7dkUrjQE We will make only the standard block. Winner can then choose to make what ever knick knack blocks they want. If you want to do the slanted books, that is okay. But please focus mostly on the standing books.
We will use black background and bright colors for the book part. It does not have to be neon colors but a good contrast against the black. Black on black is okay if it reads solid from a distance. Do not square up but be sure it will square to 12 1/2 inches. Please refer to the pictures below. This is what you should send me. You will likely feel like you are sending me an unfinished mess, that is okay. Note: if you find another book shelf block that you would rather do, that is okay as long as it is 12 1/2 inches unfinished.

Re: Welcome to September Lotto
Interesting! I did make a bookshelf quilt for Autumn's 21st birthday (25 yrs ago!) and it turned out really cute. Anyone who wins this will win a treasure! So count me in - I'd love to have a treasure!

I'm going to sit this one out Val. I have too much going on this month. Thanks so much for host the Lotto.
