LYN, I love the ring toy. The fabrics you chose are great!

It's a night of insomnia here so I've been going back and looking again at all the neat blocks y'all are making. Santa driving a train straight into the holidays, A sailboat on a Christmas cruise, a sweet rocking horse. And an ice skate made with ice skate fabric! How purrfect is that?? They are all adorable blocks! I can't wait to see all the other blocks!

I love it Lyn, it turned out super cute!
Mary, I've been having trouble with not sleeping here too, I think the heat brings out the insomnia.

Well here's my top, it's not sewn down yet but I wanted to let you all see it. It takes up a good portion of the block size. I enlarged my coloring page 150% so it would give a good size toy.

Thanks all for the nice comments!

Tina, your Top is awesome!! I enlarged my coloring page, too. I found printing it in black and white made it easier to cut apart to make my templates.

Everyone's blocks are Great and will make a fun quilt.

Valerie, mine are just applique. I printed out a coloring page and then enlarged it and just laid it under my fusible and traced on my fusible and added a part to lay under the one above it. I have 7 pieces and they're already ironed down and overlap good so they'll get good and sewn down. I hope that makes sense.

I think I know what you are doing. I will look closely when I get them. Opens more opportunities for patterns that way. They are both very cute

Lots of fun new blocks Lyn, my kids played with that stack toy & loved it. So lots of fun memories with your toy.

Tina fun spinning top. I’m enjoying the Christmas fabrics. This will be a unique Christmas quilt!

Valerie, that's a cute toy truck! Great job 😊

I took pics of how I do my applique. I always make sure I make a rounded part that tucks under the next part so it should hold for many many years. This will take me a little while because there are 12 pics in all.
First I lay my pattern under my applique ironing sheet.

Then I start building...

See how I have the one overlap?
